More than 500 exhibitors and about 4,500 visitors from 50 countries and regions took in last year’s event.
ABOUT: FILMART has been regarded as a significant cross-media, cross-industry entertainment trade platform in Asia which excels in promoting co-operation in areas of film financing, distribution, production, post-production, TV, digital entertainment, film & broadcasting equipment and shooting locations.
WHY: FILMART promotes Hong Kong as the regional hub for distribution and production of film, TV programmes and entertainment-related products in the Asia-Pacific. The event will be held alongside the Entertainment Expo Hong Kong, which brings together film, TV, digital entertainment, music and other major sectors of the global entertainment industry.
Highlights will include the 34th Hong Kong International Film Festival, the eighth Hong Kong – Asia Film Financing Forum and the fourth Asian Film Awards.
