Building Business Bridges to Asia |

 Trade ties with Victoria were highlighted with the staging of the recent “Building Business Bridges to Asia Dinner 2010,” attended by Premier John Brumby and his Cabinet ministers.
The event on March 10 was hosted by State MP Hong Lim, the Member for Clayton and Special Advisor to Victoria’s Premier on Victoria-Asia Business Relations. |

 Mr Lim noted the Brumby Government’s status as a Platinum Level sponsor of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo to help promote Victoria’s capabilities in industries as diverse as biotechnology, nanotechnology, automotive manufacturing, arts, research, sustainable design and renewable energy. This will be supplemented by up to 17 business missions to China in seven key sectors as well as visiting trade delegations from China to Victoria.
