  HONG KONG FASHION WEEK SPRING/SUMMER – 7-10 JULY 2014  
     
  Under the theme Cruise Sensation, the 21st edition of HKTDC Hong Kong Fashion Week for Spring/Summer will present the latest products, trends and market intelligence, showcasing creativity of design talents as well as providing an ideal trade platform for fashion industry players.

The fair offers a one-stop-shop for all fashion, accessories and fabrics needs for global buyers. Highlights include Fashion Gallery, with its high fashion and brand labels; the International Fashion Designers’ Showcase, featuring designer collections and fashion design talent; World of Fashion Accessories; Men In Style; and many other accessory zones. In the coming edition, the Activewear zone will debut to tap into the dynamic market demand.

Men are increasingly concerned with their wardrobes. According to Euromonitor, global menswear sales are estimated to have grown by 2.8% to US$441.3 billion in 2012, outpacing the growth of women’s wear (2.7%). Private labels are also becoming more and more important as consumers desire to have private labels for everyday garments like jeans, accessories and t-shirts.

Fashion designers from both Hong Kong and overseas will present their latest collections in fashion parades, including design talents from Australia, the Chinese mainland, Indonesia and Macau. Local new design force is also ready to show international buyers their creativity by staging FASHIONALLY COLLECTION show during the fair.

World-renowned and local research institutes will be invited to unveil the coming fashion trends, as well as the latest technological developments through a number of seminars and presentations. A networking reception will be organised for industry players from around the world to expand their business network.
