To show its commitment to fighting illegal wildlife trade, the Hong Kong Government recently began the incineration of almost 30 tons of confiscated ivory. "We hope curbing illegal trade in ivory will help stop illegal poaching of elephants," said Hong Kong Secretary for the Environment, Mr Wong Kam-sing.
