InvestHK wins UN green award |

 Hong Kong’s investment promotion agency, InvestHK, and its partnership with the neighbouring southern Chinese city of Shenzhen have been recognised by the United Nations.
Together with the Shenzhen Government, InvestHK was named as one of three first-prize winners in the Investment Promotion Awards 2010 at The United Nations Conference on Trade & Development on September 8.
The award recognises the joint efforts by InvestHK and Shenzhen on the strategic DuPont Apollo project, which opened the first Global Thin Film Photovoltaic Research & Development Centre in Hong Kong last year and a new manufacturing facility in Shenzhen.
"Our collaboration through the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation Circle has facilitated the comprehensive promotion of green foreign direct investment and enhanced technology knowledge transfer between Shenzhen and Hong Kong," Director-General of Investment Promotion Simon Galpin said.
