The 7th Asian Financial Forum focuses on Asian markets powering global growth |

A group of 23 Australian delegates joint more than 2,400 business leaders and senior government officials from 41 countries and regions at the Seven Asian Financial Forum (AFF) in early January at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition center. These delegates, ranging from investment bankers to immigration lawyers, were looking to build new connections, knowledge, business and investment opportunities in Hong Kong and China. |

This year’s forum has provided a high-level platform for attendees from the global financial community to discuss developments and trends in the dynamic markets of Asia. Prospects on the Chinese mainland and throughout the Asian region have dominated topics on Day One of the forum. A series of thematic workshops were held on the second day, examining opportunities ranging from the liberalisation of the mainland’s financial market to private wealth management,captive insurance, Islamic finance, ASEAN, free trade zones, Qianhai special economic zone, opportunities in natural resources and energy, and Chinese outbound investment.
