Tree and Landscape Map for HK now available |

 A 'Tree and Landscape Map' series has been launched to promote green leisure spots in each of the 18 districts in Hong Kong, introducing special trees, landscape designs and green spaces of each district.
This serves as a guide for visiting attractions in the 18 districts so that local landscape and green spaces can be enjoyed and seasonal changes in the landscape can be appreciated.
The 'Tree and Landscape Map' covers various landscape and greening attractions that are publicly accessible under government or private management.
Apart from giving directions to open spaces, the map series introduces special old and valuable trees, landscaping trees, avenue trees, stone wall trees, promenades and big lawn areas.
An e-book version of the series is now available at the Greening website (www.greening.gov.hk).
A free mobile device application will soon be available from the iTunes Store online application store. The smartphone version will provide special interactive elements like "My Trip", multiple search options and social network sharing functions.
