  HKABA NSW Chapter 14 September Signing Ceremony  
     
  HKABA NSW Chapter 2011 - 2012 Platinum Sponsorship Signing Ceremony was successfully held in Rydges World Square, Sydney. From 1 July 2011 till 30 June 2012, four companied have shown their generous support for HKABA NSW Chapter including HKETO, Government of the HKSAR, Cathay Pacific Airways, Hantec Markets and Navarra Venues.

All the four companies expressed their wish to continuously support the HKABA NSW Chapter. Peter Sinn, President of HKABA NSW Chapter thanked all the sponsors for their contribution to HKABA NSW Chapter.

HKABA NSW Chapter 25 August 2011 Asia Pacific Networking Function

Annual Asia Pacific Networking Function initiated by HKABA NSW Chapter successfully concluded on 25 August for a third year. Representatives from around 20 Chambers of Commerce of the Asia Pacific Region gathered together at the event.

Mr. Craig James, Chief Economist, CommSec made his debut at the NSW Chapter with his excellent presentation at the event. CommSec was also the sponsor of the evening.

The evening has attracted over 60 guests and they shared the latest intelligences of the Asia Pacific region and discussed the most recent information with each other.

  HKABA NSW Chapter successfully held another monthly function – for the promotion of Hong Kong Forum and World SME Expo on 12 July.

The event had drawn the attention from the local mainstream audiences. Almost 80 guests have attended the event. During the event, Ms. Bonnie Shek from Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Ms. Linda Law, Deputy Director of HKETO, Government of the HKSAR and Mr. Peter Sinn, President of HKABA NSW Chapter had all addressed the audience.Two key note speakers Mr. Brett Dudley & Mr. John Filippo had respectively introduced to the guests their notion of running the businesses in Hong Kong and the experiences with Hong Kong Forum and SME Expo.

The Hong Kong Forum is the annual flagship event of the Federation of Hong Kong Business Associations Worldwide,which has grown to include 33 Hong Kong BusinessAssociations in 24 countries with more than 11,000 members across Asia, Australasia, Europe and North America.The unique global network connects traders, buyers and professionals with strong business links to Hong Kong, to one global family where they can exchange information, share ideas and generate business opportunities.

The Hong Kong Forum is the perfect occasion for the individual associates from around the world to meet, network and gather updates of the latest trends and business opportunities available in and through Hong Kong.

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the World Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) Expo together with the Innovation, Design and Technology Expo will be held at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) from 1 to 3 December 2011. With over 40,000 international visitors and nearly 700 exhibitors the two HKTDC events will bring a full spectrum of business opportunities and solutions ranging from China Opportunities, Overseas Opportunities, Financial Services, IT and E-Business, China Trade Strategies, Start a Business, Business Intelligence, Business Support Services, Legal, Accounting, Consulting, Marketing and other trade support services for SMEs.
