Join Australian and NZ Pavilion at Hong Kong Medical Devices and Supplies Fair

HKTDC (Australia / NZ) Office is calling on companies to join the Australian and NZ Pavilion at the upcoming HKTDC Hong Kong International Medical Devices and Supplies Fair.

Boosting business health

Following three years’ of the highly successful Hong Kong International Medical & Health Care Fair, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council is organising a medical trade fair, which will take place from 4 to 6 November 2009. The HKTDC Hong Kong International Medical Devices and Supplies Fair promises to be an unmissable event for all those in the medical device business. The fair will be held in Hong Kong, Asia’s leading medical hub due to its advanced technology and central geographical location.

This event reflects the phenomenal global growth potential in the medical products trade for reasons including:

a growing demand for medical devices and supplies
rising health consciousness – particularly after incidents such as the SARS and influenza outbreaks
a growing need for home-based long-term care, especially the case in Asia

The Hong Kong International Medical Devices and Supplies Fair will cater for all these needs with its emphasis on medical devices and supplies for both the household consumer market and the professional/institutional market, ensuring the widest possible range of trade and professional visitors.

Hong Kong – best for business

Hong Kong, with its long tradition of international commerce, is a leading Asian trading hub and ideally placed to facilitate trade between the Chinese mainland and other parts of the world. The city is home to a strong medical and healthcare equipment industry which witnessed 23% export growth during 2008, and whose main export markets are the Chinese mainland and the US.
