  HK, NZ sign economic partnership pact

Hong Kong and New Zealand have signed a closer economic partnership agreement to enhance trade and investment flows between the two places - Hong Kong's first free trade pact with a foreign economy.

The agreement is expected to come into force in the last quarter of 2010, after necessary domestic procedures are completed.

  Revitalised BrandHK launched

Financial Secretary John Tsang has launched a revitalised Brand Hong Kong - the city brand - which features updated core values, or "DNA", with its dragon logo taking on a more contemporary look.

The five updated core values of BrandHK are: free, enterprising, excellence, innovative and quality living. The core values are what Hong Kong people cherish or aspire to.

  Hong Kong to host 55 expo events

Hong Kong will stage more than 55 events and activities during the six-month Shanghai Expo period, Chief Secretary for Administration Henry Tang says.

The events include an exciting performing arts programme, exhibitions, seminars, and major promotional activities for the tourism, design and branding, and film sectors. Exhibitions and promotions on photography, fashion as well as comics and animation are also planned.
