Inauguration of Fourth Term HKSAR Government |

 The inauguration ceremony of the Fourth Term of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government was held on July 1 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
President Hu Jintao, who was in Hong Kong for this special occasion, swore in the Chief Executive, Mr C Y Leung, and the Principal Officials.
 The Chief Executive then swore in members of the Executive Council.
Some 2,300 guests attended the ceremony, including representatives from the Central Government, members of the Executive and Legislative Councils, Hong Kong delegates to the National People's Congress and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, political and economic figures, personalities from social circles, senior executives of Hong Kong-based Chinese enterprises, and members of the foreign diplomatic corps.
