HKABA NSW Chapter "Hong Kong" – Asia's Trade Fair Capital Yum Cha Function |

HKABA NSW Chapter successfully concluded its annual Yum Cha function, promoting Hong Kong's international trade fairs.
 During the function, Mr. Richard Watson, Managing Director of ATC Group Hong Kong gave an impressive presentation regarding business opportunities, challenges and threats in one of the fastest growing markets; how to determine the best export and import prospects; how to identify a prospective buyer or sales agent; what are the warning signs; what method of payment is recommended; how to protect intellectual property rights.
 HKTDC organises over 35 international trade fairs in Hong Kong. 7 of them are the largest in the Asia. Events such as the HK Gifts and Premium Fair, HK Watch and Clock Fair and the HK Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition) are the largest in the World. These events offer importers are wealth of sourcing opportunities of the latest trends and products from Hong Kong. Other events such as the HKTDC International Wine and Spirits Fair, HKTDC Food Expo, HK International Tea Fair and HK International ICT Expo are a platform for Australian exporters to tap into the huge China market to sell.
 Mr. Steve Barclay, Director of HKETO, Government of the HKSAR, Ms. Bonnie Shek, Director of Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Mr. Andrew Clark, Director of Hong Kong Tourism Board, Ms. Linda Law, Deputy Director of HKETO, Ms. Yin Robards, Deputy Head of InvestHK all attended the function.
