  These two events are the world’s largest electronics marketplace – the Autumn Electronics Fair and electronicAsia together host more than 4,300 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions and 87,000 buyers. This year’s event will focus on artificial intelligence and 5G.

  Last year’s twin lighting fairs and Eco Expo welcomed a record number of over 73,000 buyers from 154 countries and regions visiting the three events – an increase of 6% on last year’s attendance. This year’s events will again focus on the opportunities from the Greater Bay Area and developments in sustainable lighting and innovation.  
  6 - 8 Nov 2019 HKTDC Hong Kong International Optical Fair 2019  
  Last year’s Optical Fair featured record 810 exhibitors from 23 countries and regions presenting a wide range of eyewear products. The inaugural IT Solutions & Shop Fittings zone showcased the latest innovations, including 3D eyewear printing technologies, to match buyers’ needs and help promote their business development. The 2019 event will again feature seminars featured industry representatives and experts to share market and product trends in the eyewear industry.  
  7 - 9 Nov 2019 HKTDC Hong Kong International Wine & Spirits Fair 2019  
  The 2019 edition welcomed 1,075 exhibitors from 33 countries and regions, and showcased an extraordinary variety of wines and spirits from around the world with pavilions from New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Sweden and Switzerland. The fair will also feature Liquor & Beverage Products, Whisky and Spirits and Beer zones, together with zones that promote the industry’s all-round development, including Wine Education, Wine Investment, and Wine Accessories, Equipment and Services, at which Tmall, the well-known Chinese mainland online shopping platform, joins the fair for the first time. Food-pairing products are showcased at the Friends of Wine zone.

  The 5th Hong Kong International Franchising Show will feature multiple zones, including the Hong Kong Food and Beverage zone, the Hong Kong Non-Food and Beverage zone, the Chinese Mainland zone and the International zone, displaying franchising opportunities across different sectors. The second edition of the SmartBiz Expo, which was held concurrently with the Franchising Show, attracted more than 520 exhibitors from 40 countries and regions to offer a variety of business solutions and innovative business ideas.  
  The second Asian E-tailing Summit offers a one-stop platform to explore the future development of e-commerce and was attended in 2019 by more than 1,400 e-tailers and business professionals from various sectors.  
  Organised by Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and partnered with the Business of Design Week (BODW), DesignInspire is a B2A exchange and inspiring platform for global creative elites, design brands, design associations and institutes to showcase their creativities. An array of interactive installations, novel ideas, design products and projects is featured.  
  5 - 6 Dec 2019 Business of IP Asia Forum  
  The two-day forum brings together more than 80 intellectual property (IP) experts from leading global companies to share insights on a range of industry topics and discuss the advantages Hong Kong offers for exploring new business opportunities. With more than 90 exhibitors showcasing their products and services, and backed by the online platform Asia IP Exchange (, the forum provides a valuable one-stop platform to foster cooperation between governments, industry, academia, research institutions and the business sector, and encourage IP trade and wider application of new technologies.  
  13-14 January, 2020 Asian Financial Forum  
  The Asian Financial Forum (AFF) brings together some of the most influential leaders of the global financial and business community to discuss developments and trends in the dynamic markets of Asia. In 2019, over 130 internationally respected speakers in government, financial and business sectors gathered for groundbreaking discussions about opportunities and challenges facing Asia.  
  The twelfth AFF attracted more than 3,300 participants from 45 countries and regions, about 80% of them were CEOs and senior decision makers. More than 400 journalists and media representatives attended the forum.  
  AFF Deal Flow Matchmaking Session  
  During the AFF Deal Flow Matchmaking Session, one-on-one meetings were arranged between sources of funds and sources of deals. Over the years, 5,200+ meetings were arranged for more than 3,000 companies involving investment project owners, private equity firms, investors, high net-worth individuals and senior professionals from intermediaries and professional services providers.
