  Belt and Road conference by Australia China Business Council (Darwin)
A three-day Belt and Road conference will be hosted by the Australia China Business Council (ACBC) from 10 to 12 July in Darwin. It will hear from Chinese and Australian experts on China’s “Belt and Road Initiative”, its implications and how to develop valuable business opportunities and networks. The conference will link Chinese and Australian investors with projects and ideas, and bring together Chinese think tank leaders, policy planners and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) investment managers. It will also feature Australian leaders and policy makers from national, territory and states and provide an opportunity for delegates to help set the development and investment agenda. As one of the speakers at the conference, the Director of HKETO Sydney, Mr Raymond Fan, will spell out Hong Kong’s advantages for the Belt and Road Initiative. Read more about the event here.
 
     
  International Arts Carnival 2018 (Hong Kong)
As one of the largest family arts festivals in Hong Kong, the International Arts Carnival 2018 presents a splendid array of inspirational and fun-filled arts programmes from 6 July to 12 August, including ballet, electroluminescent and multi-media traditional Chinese puppetry, music, music theatre for babies and physical theatre, magic and circus shows and more by brilliant visiting performers as well as outstanding local artists.   Hong Kong Book Fair 2018 (Hong Kong)
Whether you’re a bibliophile or a casual reader, Hong Kong Book Fair is sure to please. Entering its 29th edition this year, the fair to be held from 18 to 24 July at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre will continue to present a vast variety of publications. Over 600 cultural events will also be held in connection with the fair, including activities throughout the month-long ‘Cultural July’. Read more here.
