With Asia continuing to lead growth in the licensing industry, around 30 licensing experts from around the world will share best practices on tapping promising markets in the region at the Asian Licensing Conference 2018. More than 1,400 participants are expected to attend the event which will be held on 8-9 January, in Hong Kong. Running concurrently is the Hong Kong International Licensing Show, to assist licensors and licensing agents to search for partners and expand their regional licensing network in Asia, which provides a one-stop platform for people involved in the licensing business (licensors, licensing agents, licensees, advertising & marketing agencies, brand builders, legal advisors and design professionals etc.) to feature, source and promote new properties & licensing-related services. |

Gathering some 3,300 global exhibitors, the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair, Hong Kong Baby Products Fair, Hong Kong International Stationery Fair and Hong Kong International Licensing Show – attracted a total of close to 120,000 buyers, up two per cent over last year. |

More than 46,000 buyers visited the Toys & Games Fair; the Baby Products Fair attracted over 30,000 buyers; the Stationery Fair welcomed close to 21,000 buyers; and over 21,000 visitors came to the Licensing Show. |

During the AFF Deal Flow Matchmaking Session, one-on-one meetings were arranged between sources of funds and sources of deals. Over the years, 3,800+ meetings were arranged for more than 1,800 companies involving investment project owners, private equity firms, investors, high net-worth individuals and senior professionals from intermediaries and professional services providers. |

Asia’s leading fashion event, Hong Kong Fashion Week for Fall/Winter, is the conduit for exhibitors to enter new markets or expand their presence in established markets. It is one of the most vibrant events in the annual fashion calendar, offering a platform for favourite brands as well as exciting new talent. Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the fair drew some 15,000 buyers from 77 countries and regions in 2017 to meet with more than 1,500 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions. |
