Credit Suisse Asian Investment Conference 2016
The 19th Credit Suisse Annual Asian Investment Conference was held in Hong Kong from 5-8 April, 2016. The conference was one of the most exclusive business gatherings in the Asia Pacific region and attracted institutional and hedge fund investors, high-net-worth individuals, business leaders as well as influential statesmen and academics from around the world.  This year’s attendees came from 45 countries with $18 trillion assets under management.   Arts MoU between Hong Kong and Australia
The Chief Secretary for Administration of HKSAR Government, Mrs Carrie Lam, and the Premier of South Australia, Mr Jay Weatherill, witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) and the Adelaide Festival Centre (AFC) in Hong Kong on 9 April. The MoU is for closer collaboration with OzAsia Festival of AFC in the upcoming two years to present outstanding Hong Kong artists and artworks to the audience of South Australia.   Australian Fintech company establishes regional headquarters in Hong Kong
Australian Fintech company Austreme announced on 11 April that they would establish its regional headquarters in Hong Kong, paving the way for its global expansion in the coming years. The establishment of the regional headquarters in Hong Kong would not only cater to the needs of Hong Kong clients but also support the company's offices being planned in the Mainland, the US and Europe.   International IT Fest 2016
International IT Fest 2016, in its fourth edition, was held from April 11 to April 23 in Hong Kong, which attracted and gathered renowned ICT experts and leaders from around the world such as Alibaba Group and Facebook. The 40 plus events at the Festival covered a wide range of ICT domains in which Hong Kong is developing quickly, such as Fintech, e-Commerce, smart city, big data, Internet of Things, start-ups, cyber security and mobile technology, showcasing Hong Kong's achievements in innovation and technology.   Hong Kong PolyU brings glory to Hong Kong at Invention Expo
Hong Kong Polytechnic University has won a total of 14 prizes at the 44th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva, which included two Grand Prizes, three Special Merit Awards, six Gold Medals, one Silver Medal and two Bronze Medals covering a wide range of application areas.
