  2017 StartmeupHK Festival
To celebrate and showcase the startup ecosystem, Invest Hong Kong is organising the StartmeupHK Festival 2017 from 16-20 January. The week will feature keynotes, interactive how-to-sessions, hackathons, powerful lessons from seasoned founders and investors plus much more. StartmeupHK is an integrated startup initiative aimed to create a buzz amongst entrepreneurs in the local and overseas startup communities, to promote Hong Kong as a startup destination.   Business of IP Asia Forum
The sixth edition of Business of IP Asia Forum will be held on 1-2 December to bring IP professionals and business leaders from all over the world to Hong Kong to discuss the latest developments in the IP world and to explore business collaboration. Last year’s forum featured over 80 prominent speakers sharing their insights and attracted more than 2,400 IP professionals and industry players to attend. For details of the Forum, read here
 
     
  INK Asia 2016 is back
The inaugural edition of Ink Asia in 2015 was immensely successful, and returns again to Hong Kong in December this year. The first international event devoted to contemporary ink painting, the show will again showcase artists and galleries from the region, and is expected to attract an elite audience of international art collectors, dealers and connoisseurs. It will run from 16-18 December with 50 galleries having lined up to showcase more than 1,000 works to art lovers. Read more about the event here.
 
     
  Great Outdoors Hong Kong 2016-2017
The five-month "Great Outdoors Hong Kong" campaign is now on and will run through March 2017. During these five months, 30 guided tours will be organised to showcase nine award-winning or internationally recognised hiking and cycling trails in Hong Kong to encourage tourists to explore the city’s best nature escape in the company of local experts.   Hong Kong Pulse 3D Light Show
Enjoy truly magical moments in the form of a spectacular 3D light show with exciting audio visual effects at the iconic buildings of the Hong Kong Cultural Centre and the Clock Tower in Tsim Sha Tsui from 25 November to 28 December. This exhilarating experience will coincide with The WinterFest to be staged from November to January, offering a wide range of activities from Christmas decoration in Central to exclusive offers of shopping and dining.   Kai Tak Sports Park Opportunity Briefing
The Kai Tak Sports Park, to be completed in 2022, will herald another exciting chapter in the transformation of Hong Kong. It will comprise a main stadium for 50,000 spectators, a public sports ground, an indoor sports centre, a shopping centre and waterfront entertainment area. The Hong Kong government will host a briefing on 30 November in Hong Kong for parties interested in participating at a principal level of the Design-Build-Operate contract. Details of the Sports Park including further commentary on the commercial model, design and build aspects as well as procurement process will be unveiled at the briefing.
