  Asian Regional Banking Strategy Panel

  HKTDC co-sponsored the Asian Regional Banking Strategy Panel on October 29, 2015. Held at The Establishment the panel featured four distinguished panellists: Professor the Honourable Bob Carr, Paul Bloxham, Chief Economist, HSBC, Yasser El-Ansary, Chief Executive, AVCAL and Bonnie Shek, Director, Australia & New Zealand, Hong Kong Trade Development Council.

The key political drivers for the establishment of the free trade agreements signed over the last 2 years with a strong focus on the China agreement.
The details of the China free trade agreement and the key benefits for industry and the role of the banking and finance sector
How prepared is Australian business to take advantage of the agreements?

What are the risks associated with developing and executing an Asian growth strategy?
What role does Hong Kong play in supporting businesses grow in the region?

  Australian Clean Technology - Mission Briefing for Business Of Intellectual Property 2016

  The morning after the hugely successful Australian Technologies Competition, the members of Australian Clean Technology’s mission to the Business of Intellectual Property Forum 2016 in Hong Kong assembled at Hong Kong House for a briefing by Bonnie Shek, Director, Australia and New Zealand, HKTDC. John O’Brien, MD of Australian Clean Technology and scheduled speaker at next year’s BIP Asia, led proceedings and briefed mission members on the trip logistics as well as new IP business models, trends and strategies.  
     
  Mission members will be visiting Shenzhen to meet key contacts before travelling to Hong Kong for BIP Asia and concurrent events, World SME Forum and InnoDesignTech.
