Foreword |

 This is the last time I shall write the foreword to the Hong Kong Monitor. After four wonderful years in Sydney I shall be leaving on 11 July 2014.
It as been a honour to serve as Hong Kong’s representative to Australia and New Zealand. I have made many friends and I thank you all for your support.
My successor, Mr Arthur Au, will join the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Sydney on 4 August. I hope you will show him the same courtesy and generosity that you have given me.
I would also like to take this opportunity to announce the arrival of another new face in the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office. Mr Luca de Leonardis will assume the position of Head of Invest Hong Kong on 10 July 2014. I welcome Luca, and wish him every success.
